• Push notification tokens — to deliver podcast and article notifications to your device

We also collect anonymous usage analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve the experience.

How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate your account via passwordless magic links
• Personalize your podcast experience (voice selection, preferences)
• Send push notifications for new podcasts and articles based on your settings
• Improve the app through aggregated, anonymous usage data

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate The AI Recap:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, cloud functions, and hosting
• Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) — delivering notifications to iOS devices
• Expo Application Services — app builds and over-the-air updates

These services have their own privacy policies and may process data as described in their respective documentation.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our systems.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication flows, and access controls on our infrastructure.

Children's Privacy

The AI Recap is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email.
